Abstract

While often ignored by contemporary studies in management, ecclesiastical bodies (i.e., churches) as organizations share many of the same challenges faced by secular corporations. “Springfield Lake Community Church” traces the experience of the church’s pastor and leadership team in seeking to establish a new system of governance and explores themes of leadership, conflict, change, and structure from an organizational behavior perspective.
