Abstract
The following article is a chapter (actually, the “Postscript”) from Dennis W. Bakke’s seminal book, Joy at Work (paperback 2006; Pearson Venture Group). The chapter provides the underlying rationale explaining Mr. Bakke’s remarkable journey as the co-founder and CEO of Applied Energy Services (AES). The rest of the book — all of it preceding this chapter — is equally enlightening and useful for students, professors, and business practitioners who are inclined to challenge the established paradigm of compartmentalizing the faith and business/work aspects of our lives.
